An old detached house on the east side of Gladstone Avenue just south of Bloor has been demolished. Have a look at the picture of the demolition machine perched on the rubble. The demolition crew said that the machine weighs 23,000 tonnes (unbelievable).
I’m very curious what the new home will look like. It is somewhat unfortunate to see a 100 year old house demolished in the area. But, everyone has their own subjective opinion of architecture and value of a home.
