Types of Homes

Homes in Teddington Park are best summarized by the area’s defining street, Teddington Park Avenue. Along this scenic and lush boulevard large Georgian and Tudor-style homes create an atmosphere of peaceful elegance. Most properties in the area are single detached homes built between the 1910s and 1930s. Some of Toronto’s most stunning larger homes can be found along the ravine-backing Riverview Drive.

Despite being a relatively small community, Teddington Park has no shortage of amenities. On Ranleigh Avenue, the Bedford Park Community Centre features an indoor gymnasium and swimming pool. Wanless Park has several outdoor recreation facilities including tennis courts, a basketball court, a ball diamond, a wading pool, and a large playground for children. Edwards Gardens is a beautiful outdoor botanical garden that features perennials, roses, wildflowers and rhododendrons. The nearby George Locke Public Library at Yonge and Lawrence offers a wide range of programming for children and adults.
